MONITORING THE BUG

The Saints have been dealing with an illness all week, which has included both players and coaches. Michael Thomas was the latest player to get added to the report on Saturday afternoon, being officially questionable for Sunday. We expect the players to play who have had to deal with it, but it's included everyone from Derek Carr to Dennis Allen. It's that time of the year.

PUT UP OR SHUT UP

Nothing really matters today for the Saints other than getting a win. The team had a lot of good conversations before they dove into film for the Colts game. Carr was one of the driving forces behind the offense, making sure everyone got out what was needed to be said and then some. The offense is the focal point for New Orleans, and execution without excuses has to be what we see. In particular, what does 3rd Down and the Red Zone look like today? We'll find out soon enough.

NEEDING THAT ONE GAME

Despite everything that has happened and the disappointment that has followed, New Orleans has 10 games left on their schedule. They need to win a minimum of six to position themselves for the division, but realistically they need to win seven. It's been a while since we've seen the Saints go on a run, but it would be a great time for them to start. There's a lot at stake for this team, and anything less than a postseason appearance will have to prompt some immediate changes.
