Seattle quarterback Geno Smith couldn't take the field on Monday night against the NFC powerhouse Eagles. After being made 'active' for the game, he ultimately couldn't go due to a nagging groin injury.

Enter Drew Lock, the player Smith beat out for the starting job two offseasons ago.

Making his first start in a Seahawks uniform, Lock found himself trailing the Eagles 17-13 late in the game before embarking on what would be the game-winning 10-play, 92-yard drive that burned 1:24 off the clock.

Faced with a 3rd and 10, Lock looked down the right sideline to see receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba streaking away from his defender. Lock threw a dart and hit Smith-Njigba in stride for the go-ahead score.

Immediately following the pass, Lock looked to the sideline and spotted Smith, the two celebrated together - separately - as Lumen Field erupted.

Lock's drive left Jalen Hurts and the Eagles just 28 seconds on the clock before Hurts ultimately threw an interception to Julian Love to end the game.

Lock finished the game completing 22 of 33 passes for 208 yards and no interceptions.

The Seahawks broke a four-game losing streak while at the same time extending Philadelphia's skid to three. Seattle moved to 7-7 and the No. 8 spot in the seven-team NFC playoffs bracket. With remaining games against Tennessee, Pittsburgh and Arizona, Seattle has an opportunity to move into the final playoff spot with some help from the Rams, Vikings, or Buccaneers.
