Ravens, Lamar Jackson Closing in on Deal

PITTSBURGH -- The Baltimore Ravens are expected to get "good news" tonight during the 2023 NFL Draft, and it seems they may have locked up Lamar Jackson for a long-term deal.
According to ESPN's Jamison Hensley, the Ravens have "good news" coming. Which, with recent reports and cryptical social media posts, could be one of two major headlines.
Just got a text: "Good news on the way for the Ravens."

During the Pat McAfee Show, former NFL cornerback Pacman Jones said that Hopkins is expected to be traded during the NFL Draft, and that the Ravens are one of three teams that are a potential landing spot. The other two are the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills.
Yesterday, Jackson tweeted out a simple but cryptical GIF, which had fans and media immediately wondering if this meant he agreed on a new deal or that another wide receiver was headed to Baltimore.

Reports claim that Jackson told the Ravens to sign Odell Beckham Jr., which they have, and trade for DeAndre Hopkins. If they did both, he would talk about playing this season.
Fox Sports' Jay Glazier then added to the story, saying the deal between Jackson and the Ravens is close and could get done any day now.
In non-draft scoopage, hearing there’s been major progress between Lamar Jackson and #Ravens. Source close to Jackson told me if no hiccups could be done VERY soon, any day now

The Ravens have held strong that they believe Jackson would be their quarterback this season, and a long-term deal would mean he's sticking around the AFC North with Joe Burrow, Deshaun Watson and Kenny Pickett for some time.
