Packers Offensive Gets Big News Ahead of Steelers Game
PITTSBURGH -- The Green Bay Packers offense gets a major boost just before kickoff with the Pittsburgh Steelers, getting news two offensive line starters will be available despite dealing with injuries.
Coming into the weekend, the Packers had three players listed as questionable along the offensive line. The bigger issue was that one was center Josh Myers, who's backup and starting right guard, Jon Runyan was also on the injury report.
On their official inactive list, the Packers announced both Myers and Runyan will be playing.
The Steelers will be missing starting nose tackle Montravius Adams but will have Cam Heyward available for a second game after returning from Injured Reserve. Keeanu Benton is set to start at nose.
The Packers' defense didn't get as fortunate, as cornerback Jaire Alexander and inside linebacker, Quay Walker are both inactive due to injuries. Defensive tackle Kenny Clark will pay despite a shoulder injury.
