Le'Veon Bell Visits Steelers, Mike Tomlin
PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers had a familiar guest at their facility just before they matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 16. Likely in town to tailgate and hang with fans on gameday, former running back Le'Veon Bell was at UPMC Rooney Sports Complex to visit his old team.
Bell posted a video of him dressed in Steelers gear at the facility. He said he and head coach Mike Tomlin met and still on great terms, and, as he's mentioned multiple times this year, it made him realize he shouldn't have asked to leave Pittsburgh when he was playing.
"Hey man, we are in here," Bell said. "I haven’t been in this facility, this parking lot, for so long.
"... It’s crazy. We and Coach T bro, we still like this (close to each other). I was tripping, bro. Damn was I tripping. Why did y’all not tell me not to leave?"
Technically, Bell hasn't retired from the NFL. If he chooses to one day, it's likely he get the opportunity to do so as a Steeler. And seeing him at the facility, it feels like they'd be welcoming for him to leave the league in Pittsburgh just like he entered it.
