NFL Investing Steelers' Rival Bengals Over Joe Burrow Injury

The NFL will take a look at the Cincinnati Bengals situation prior to their game.

PITTSBURGH -- The NFL is beginning their investigation into Pittsburgh Steelers rivals the Cincinnati Bengals over the injury to quarterback Joe Burrow, who suffered a wrist injury in-game but may have been a problem prior to the game.

The Bengals' social media posted a video of Burrow walking into the stadium with what appeared to be a brace on his wrist. However, he was not listed on the team's injury report prior to the game. Early in the first half, Burrow left the game with a wrist injury, and according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the league is now looking into the situation to see if Cincinnati did not disclose the injury.

The social media video has since been deleted.

According to Schefter, the league could hand Cincinnati fines or take away a draft pick over hiding the injury.

For the Bengals, they could be forced to start backup Jake Browning in Week 12 against the Steelers. This would mark back-to-back backup quarterbacks for Pittsburgh, who is set to take on Dorian Thompson-Robinson in Week 11 against the Cleveland Browns.
