Steelers' Cam Heyward Jabs Kenny Pickett After Being Snubbed From Wedding

Apparently, being locker mates doesn't hold enough ground for the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback.

PITTSBURGH -- Kenny Pickett appeared to have the grand ball of weddings as he and his wife Amy Paternoster said their "I do's" last month after Pittsburgh Steelers minicamp ended. 

The wedding appeared to have all the fixings for a magical evening and even included some Steelers-themed ice sculptures. The team chaplain Kent Chevalier officiated the ceremony and Pittsburgh artist Cody Sabol did a painting of the couple at the wedding. 

Plenty of Pickett's teammates were in attendance as he and Amy tied the knot, but one player wasn't - and he let him know he wasn't too pleased (jokingly). 

Cam Heyward welcomed Pickett back onto his podcast Not Just Football for the second time this offseason, and the two discussed a number of topics about the team and the upcoming season. 

Then, Heyward brought up the wedding - which he wasn't invited to. 

"I really gotta grill you first because I'm kind of mad at you," Heyward joked. "How did Connor [Heyward] get the invite to the wedding and I didn't?"

Pickett immediately laughed. 

"You know Connor's my guy," Pickett said. "Connor's my guy. He had a good time. We go back to '17. I tried to get him to go to Pitt."

To make matters worse for Heyward, and funnier for those watching, Connor didn't even invite Cam. 

"Back to this wedding, I'm not done with this, shrimp, oysters. It was a mean setup. I still didn't get the invite. I'm pissed," Heyward said. "What makes it even worse is Connor invited my other brother to the wedding, Corey. They both went to the wedding, and I still didn't. I'm not even my brother's first choice."

Pickett and Heyward are locker mates, so chances are Heyward isn't going to let this one slide for some time. But as long as they bring it up during interviews and on podcasts, we should all be okay with the ongoing joke that Cam got snubbed from Kenny's wedding - but Connor (and Corey) didn't.
