Steelers Rival: Browns Sideline QB Deshaun Watson

The Cleveland Browns make a major decision at quarterback.

PITTSBURGH -- The AFC North race just got a bit more mysterious for the Pittsburgh Steelers, as there are now questions about the Cleveland Browns quarterback situation.

Deshaun Watson returned to the field for the first time since Week 5 as he worked through a shoulder injury. In his return against the Indianapolis Colts, Watson threw two interceptions in the first quarter, getting hurt and needing attention from the training staff after his second.

Watson was helped to the sideline and evaluated for a concussion but cleared protocol and was eligible to return to the game. However, he remained on the sideline while the Browns rolled with backup P.J. Walker for the remainder of the half and into the third quarter.

Head coach Kevin Stefanski told the CBS broadcast during halftime of the game that the team is being "extra cautious" with the injury and is keeping him sidelined because of it.

Watson has thrown both four interceptions and four touchdowns this season, leading Cleveland to a 2-1 record. He's 5-4 as the Browns starting quarterback, with 11 touchdowns and nine interceptions.

Watson was traded for three first-round picks last season and signed a five-year, $230 million fully guaranteed deal with the Browns.
