Steelers Defense Could Have Two Surprise Starters

The Pittsburgh Steelers could make a bit of a shocking call against the Browns.
In this story:

PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers are beat up on defense. With Minkah Fitzpatrick (hamstring) and Keanu Neal (rib) sidelined with injuries, and Kwon Alexander (achilles) and Cole Holcomb (knee) on Injured Reserve, this team is digging deep to find replacements in Week 11.

Against the Cleveland Browns, the Steelers are expected to call up at least three players from the practice squad to help add to their game-day roster. But while many expected those on the 53-man team to take over as starters, Pittsburgh is actually rolling with some elevations to replace their missing stars.

The Steelers are expected to utilize two practice squad elevations as starters against the Browns. One will replace Minkah Fitzpatrick, while the other will replace Kwon Alexander.

Meanwhile, those who were given a shot to compete for the job throughout the week will work as depth pieces for the Steelers defense. But don't take anything as set in stone, and expect plenty of mix-and-match sets to happen in-game.
