Steelers a Top Landing Spot for Titans Star RB

The Pittsburgh Steelers could make a splash signing in their backfield.

PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers seem to have their backfield in place, but with a superstar possibly hitting free agency next offseason, there's believed to be a possibility things change.

At BetOnline.ag, the Steelers are a running favorite to land Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry, if he hits the open market in the spring.

Henry's current contract, a four-year, $50 million deal, is set to end at the end of the season. It's unknown if the Titans have an interest in another deal, but if not, there are five favorites to make the splash signing.

The Buffalo Bills currently lead the pack with 2/1 odds, followed by the Kansas City Chiefs (3/1), Miami Dolphins (4/1) and Dallas Cowboys (6/1). Sitting fifth on the list are the Steelers, with 8/1 odds.

Henry will be 30 years old after the season, but will bring three All-Pros, three Pro Bowls, and an Offensive Player of the Year award to whichever team he plays for next. He's also been the league's leading rusher twice (2019, 2020).

Last season, he finished with 1,538 yards and 13 touchdowns.
