Steelers Scouting Two Big Names at Clemson Pro Day
PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers sent their two biggest representatives to Clemson this week as the Tigers hosted their 2024 Pro Day.
Both head coach Mike Tomlin and general manager Omar Khan are in attendance at Clemson's Pro Day, an annual tradition for the Steelers' big two. This year, however, there are two names the Steelers likely have their eyes on, making this Pro Day an interesting one for Pittsburgh.

The Steelers met with both cornerback Nate Wiggins and inside linebacker Jeremiah Trotter Jr. at the NFL Combine and have been linked to both as potential first and second-round picks in this year's draft. Pittsburgh needs both positions and despite additions in free agency, they could lock in on both players next month.
The Steelers added Patrick Queen to their inside linebacker room in free agency and added Donte Jackson to their cornerback depth chart through a trade with the Carolina Panthers. Still, they'll likely add at least one of these positions, if not both during the NFL Draft.
Wiggins is considered a first-round selection while Trotter Jr. is likely a second-round pick.
Wiggins suffered a hip injury during the NFL Combine and it's unclear if he'll participate at the Pro Day. Still, Tomlin and Khan will get a chance to meet with him and familiarize themselves with his personality a bit more during the process.
