Steelers Given No Shot to Win AFC North
PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers, by all accounts, have had a successful offseason. They've gotten raving reviews about their NFL Draft class, and locked in a few new starters during free agency.
Still, they're looked down upon in the AFC North.
At Ceasar Sportsbook, the Steelers currently sit with the worst odds to win the division at +550. They trail the Cincinnati Bengals (+120), Baltimore Ravens (+275) and Cleveland Browns (+360).
Sitting last shouldn't be surprising to them. The Steelers are walking into their first season with Kenny Pickett as the full-time starter, have little positives to show from offensive coordinator Matt Canada, and the offensive line is finally put together after two rough years.
On top of that, Cincinnati returns after two playoff runs, Baltimore has their quarterback back, and added a few versatile wide receivers, and Cleveland will remain somewhat high on people's list because of the expectations for Deshaun Watson.
If everything clicks for the Steelers, taking +550 odds could have a solid payout. But until we see the final product on the field, they do remain a mystery.
