PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt and his brother J.J. have made history. For the first time ever, the NFL brothers will break a mold set by the most iconic sports cereal on the market - Wheaties.

The Defensive Player of the Year brothers will appear on the next box of the cereal, being the first brothers in the company's history to be on the cover. They're also the first two athletes to appear on the same Wheaties box since 1935.

"Built around a uniting love for football, the Watt family is grounded in perseverance, togetherness, and a commitment to doing the right thing when it matters most, while serving communities in their lives outside of football," said Kathy Dixon, senior brand experience manager for Wheaties. "That’s what being a Wheaties Champion is all about, and one of the many reasons we’re so proud to feature J.J. and T.J. on the cover of this limited-edition box."

Their third brother, Derek, a former Steelers fullback, will also be on the box. He'll appear on the back, while T.J. and J.J. highlight the front.

"To be included among the incredible roster of athletes who have been featured over the years is a true honor. We hope this box is a reminder for athletes and people everywhere to persevere – on the field and in life – and always champion what you’re passionate about."

The Watt box will be available at retailers nationwide during the month of July, for $6.19.
