Myles Garrett Over T.J. Watt Again: Three Steelers Snubbed By Hall of Fame List

There's almost no way these Pittsburgh Steelers AREN'T headed to the Hall of Fame.
In this story:

PITTSBURGH -- You're saying T.J. Watt, Cam Heyward and Patrick Peterson aren't Hall of Famers? Even those outside the Pittsburgh Steelers community might find that hard to believe.

Recently, the 33rd Team released their list of current players who will head to Canton, Ohio, one day to be enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Names on the list included Aaron Donald, Jalen Ramsey, and many others who are more than likely going to be engraved in NFL history.

Not on the list are three current Steelers. Two of them are multiple-time All-Pros who are over the age of 30 and have 332 combined games of starting experience. The third owns a share of the NFL's single-season sack record and is a former Defensive Player of the Year.

And that's just skimming the surface of their resumes.

Let's add 78.5 sacks, 115 tackles for loss, six Pro Bowls and five Walter Payton Man of the Year nominations to Heyward's consideration. Then, we'll add 34 interceptions, 111 pass deflections, eight Pro Bowls, a 2010's All-Decade Team selection, and just 20 allowed career touchdowns to Peterson's list of NFL achievements.

Oh, and you know that quote, "The best ability is availability?" Heyward has missed more than half the season just once in his 12-year career. Peterson hasn't missed significant time once in his 12-year career.

As for Watt, he's just six years into his NFL career and already has 77.5 sacks, 88 tackles for loss, four All-Pro and five Pro Bowl selections, has led the league in forced fumbles and was the league's sack leader twice, so far. Don't forget about the DPOY award and sack record holder mentioned above.

It's hard to make this clear - there is no reason to pull anyone off this list while trying to put these three Steelers on it. But the fact that they aren't is complete disrespect.

Cam Heyward, T.J. Watt and Patrick Peterson are almost certainly Hall of Famers.
