T.J. Watt Gives Steelers Last-Minute Win Over Browns
PITTSBURGH -- What a play. In the same game he broke the franchise's all-time sack record, T.J. Watt sent the Pittsburgh Steelers home with a huge victory over the Cleveland Browns in Week 2.
How? A fumble recovery that was taken back for a touchdown.
With 7:06 left on the clock in the Week 2 showdown, outside linebacker Alex Highsmith found Deshaun Watson for a sack, which forced a fumble on the 17-yard line. Watt found the football, scooped it up, and took it untouched into the endzone.
The play gave Pittsburgh a 26-22 lead over the Browns.
The Steelers fought all night, but the defensive touchdown - their second of the evening - was just enough to win the game. Highsmith found the endzone to start the Week 2 showdown on a pick-six on Watson's first pass, and then Watt ended it with a fumble recovery at the end.
So far, Pittsburgh's outside linebacker duo has been worth every penny.
