Texans Welcome 'All Fans' for Free With Training Camp Release Dates, Times
The Houston Texans have released a complete training camp schedule, including information for fans to watch the team practice at the Houston Methodist Training Center this summer for free.
Highlights of the schedule include a joint practice with the Miami Dolphins in Houston on August 16 and 17, and another with the New Orleans Saints in New Orleans on August 24 and 25.
The schedule of practices open to fans is as follows:
Friday, July 28; Sunday, July 30; Friday, August 4; Saturday, August 5; Tuesday, August 8; Sunday, August 13; Wednesday, August 16; and Thursday, August 17.
Each practice will begin at 9 a.m. CT, aside from Saturday, August 5th being a 6 p.m. start time and Wednesday, August 30 beginning at 3:45 p.m. Fans can claim tickets to these on Ticketmaster beginning June 29.
"There is a lot of energy and excitement surrounding our team right now and we're really looking forward to training camp," Texans CEO Cal McNair said via the team. "Coach Ryans talks about 'iron sharpening iron' during our practices, so it will be great to see the guys competing hard, including when we hold joint practices with the Dolphins and Saints."
At training camp, fans will have a front-row seat to the most compelling storylines of the Texans' 2023 campaign.
Is C.J. Stroud already primed to make the jump from college to the NFL as a starting quarterback? What will former Dallas Cowboys Noah Brown and Dalton Schultz shine in Houston? And can veteran Jimmie Ward rebuild the Texans' secondary?
Answers to each burning question are on the horizon.
