The Tennessee Titans were expected to head into their Week 8 game against the Atlanta Falcons without their starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill and now that is confirmed after the Titans ruled Tannehill out after Friday's practice.

Injury Report Friday October 27

Tannehill won't be the only Titan out as tight end Josh Whyle will also miss after being absent from practice all week with a concussion and for the first time this season, the Titans will also be without starting slot corner Roger McCreary.

As for replacements, for Tannehill it is obvious. We will see a mixture of young quarterbacks Will Levis and Malik Willis. At tight end, expect Kevin Rader to get a lot of work in Whyle's stead and rookie corner Eric Garror is expected to play in place of McCreary.

Defensive tackle Naquan Jones popped up on the injury report on Friday with an illness and now will go into Sunday's game as questionable. Jones has been in a rotation to replace starter Teair Tart, but with Tart expected back, Jones importance certainly decreases.

Speaking of Tart, he is among multiple players who will be returning on Sunday after missing in Week 6. He is joined by wide receiver Treylon Burks, safety Elijah Molden and linebacker Luke Gifford. We will also see the return of wide receiver Chris Moore who was concussed during Week 6's game.

A long list of starters who were on the injury report will enter the weekend with no injury designation. Denico Autry, Aaron Brewer, DeAndre Hopkins, Derrick Henry and Jeffery Simmons make up that list and will all carry no designation heading into Week 8.

As for the Falcons, only linebacker Tae Davis has been declared out at this time with a familiar face for Titans fans, Bud Dupree, listed as questionable with a groin issue. The Falcons will certainly enter the game as the healthier team whether Dupree can go or not.
