NASHVILLE -- The NFL Combine kicks off this week, and there's going to be plenty to talk about regarding the Tennessee Titans. As we inch closer to the official start of the offseason, the combine is the first big step as teams around the league continue to dig into which prospects they'll monitor closely leading up to the NFL draft in April.

We'll also get to hear from new Titans' general manager Ran Carthon, head coach Mike Vrabel and several prospects that have been linked to Tennessee in some form over the last couple of weeks in mock drafts. With that in mind, here's a more in-depth look into what Titans fans need to know ahead of the combine and in the days to follow.

When will we hear from Titans' general manager Ran Carthon?

New Titans' general manager Ran Carthon will be speaking with media members at 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday. It'll be interesting to get a closer look into Carthon's thought process as well as his early thoughts on the 2023 draft class.

While the general manager likely won't give too much away in terms of Tennessee's plan, the insight offered could give fans an idea of what positions the team may be keeping a close eye on.

With this being Carthon's first offseason with the Titans, the combine may offer us a more in-depth look into what the general manager's process could look like for the weeks ahead in the offseason.

When will we hear from Titans' head coach Mike Vrabel?

While it is uncertain when we'll hear from Titans' head coach Mike Vrabel at the combine, based on previous interviews, we know some of the philosophies Tennessee may be looking to instill going into the 2023 season.

My guess is Vrabel will double down on several of the key points he mentioned just a few short weeks ago. Vrabel, who now enters Year 6 as Tennessee's head coach, emphasized the importance of offensive efficiency, being a physical team on offense and protecting the football.

Several offensive prospects line up with Vrabel's points, and with the No. 11 selection, my guess is, based on everything we've heard the Titans will likely center their focus on drafting a player who can come in right away and help improve the Titans' offense from Day 1.

Which prospects should Titans fans be keeping a close eye on?

Based on several mock drafts and the Titans' needs on both sides of the ball, here are a few different combine prospects that Titans fans should be keeping a close eye on in the days ahead.

- Paris Johnson Jr., left tackle, Ohio State

- Peter Skoronski, left tackle, Northwestern

- Joey Porter Jr., cornerback, Penn State

- Quentin Johnston, wide receiver, TCU

- Michael Mayer, tight end, Notre Dame

- Broderick Jones, left tackle, Georgia

- Lukas Van Ness, edge rusher, Iowa

- Anthony Richardson, quarterback, Florida

- Dalton Kincaid, tight end, Utah
