Vikings-Eagles Live Score Updates: NFL Week 2 Thursday Night Football
It's time for Thursday Night Football.
With the eyes of the NFL world on them, the Vikings are out for revenge. They're hoping to bounce back from last week's frustrating loss against the Buccaneers and last year's lifeless 24-7 defeat in this same building against the Eagles. For the second consecutive year, Kevin O'Connell's team faces a tall task in a Week 2 primetime game at Lincoln Financial Field.
Can the Vikings pull off the upset? Having Christian Darrisaw and Marcus Davenport active can only help. Their interior offensive line is a major concern against the Eagles' deep, explosive defensive line, but the Vikings may be able to exploit some matchups due to Philadelphia being banged up at linebacker, safety, and cornerback. Kirk Cousins will need to be decisive and accurate to give his team a chance.
On the other side of the ball, the Vikings will look to build on Sunday's promising performance in Brian Flores' first game as their defensive coordinator. Jalen Hurts and the Eagles, though, are a much tougher challenge than Baker Mayfield and the Buccaneers. Hurts is an elite dual threat QB with a great offensive line and three big-time pass-catchers at his disposal in A.J. Brown, Devonta Smith, and Dallas Goedert.
The Eagles opened as 7.5-point favorites in this game, but the spread is down to 6 ahead of kickoff.
Here's how to watch, listen to, or stream the game.

Final Score: Eagles 34, Vikings 28
Live updates
Fourth Quarter
Eagles 34, Vikings 28
1:10 — Kirk Cousins' fourth touchdown pass of the game gets the Vikings back within six, but it might be too late. That's T.J. Hockenson's second TD reception tonight.
Eagles 34, Vikings 21
4:13 — That's probably the dagger. D'Andre Swift punches it in for a touchdown to restore the Eagles' 13-point lead. He's up to 170 rushing yards.
Eagles 27, Vikings 21
7:41 — The Vikings are within a score. After two Danielle Hunter sacks forced a stop, Minnesota got the ball and marched 86 yards on nine plays, capping the drive with Cousins' third touchdown pass of the game. He got the ball out just in time to a wide-open K.J. Osborn in the end zone. Can the Vikings get another stop?
Third Quarter
0:00 — The Vikings weren't able to do anything on their most recent possession. As the third quarter comes to a close, the Eagles are once again running the ball without much resistance as they look to put the game away.
6:19 — A couple penalties on the Eagles' offensive series result in a punt, giving the Vikings a chance to creep closer in this game.
Eagles 27, Vikings 14
9:09 — Jordan Addison has played in two NFL games and has two touchdowns. He just caught a 62-yarder from Kirk Cousins on third and 10 to get the Vikings within two scores and give them a bit of hope.
Eagles 27, Vikings 7
10:54 — The Eagles may have just delivered the knockout blow with a 63-yard touchdown pass from Jalen Hurts to Devonta Smith. Akayleb Evans was in coverage.
Eagles 20, Vikings 7
13:53 — Disaster strikes again for the Vikings to start the second half. Josh Sweat beat Oli Udoh — who is in for the injured Christian Darrisaw — for a strip sack, the Vikings' fourth lost fumble in just over one half of football. Two plays later, Jalen Hurts sneaks in for another touchdown.
Second Quarter
Eagles 13, Vikings 7
0:00 — Eagles kicker Jake Elliott just snuck a 61-yard field goal over the crossbar to give Philadelphia a 13-7 lead at the half. What a turn of events to end that half.
0:34 — Well, the Vikings just came inches from a touchdown only to lose the ball on the touchback rule. Justin Jefferson tried to extend the ball past the goal line but lost it and it went out of bounds in the end zone for a turnover. That is an unbelievable swing.
Eagles 10, Vikings 7
2:44 — That was quite the dominant response by the Eagles' offense. They march downfield on a 16-play, 75-yard drive that took almost eight full minutes off the clock. They ran the ball on 13 of those 16 plays, capped by a Jalen Hurts QB sneak touchdown.
Vikings 7, Eagles 3
10:39 — The Vikings just took the lead on a Kirk Cousins touchdown pass to T.J. Hockenson. Cousins found Hockenson three times on that drive, including a 24-yard gain on third and 9.
First Quarter
0:42 — A long missed field goal by Jake Elliott keeps the score 3-0. The Vikings' defense has been outstanding, outside of one big play.
2:58 — This game is madness. The Vikings got a big takeaway on a Theo Jackson interception of Jalen Hurts, but then gave it right back when Alexander Mattison fumbled on the very next play.
6:09 — The Vikings' defense got a three-and-out, but Brandon Powell lost a fumble after a solid punt return. Eagles recover. That's Minnesota's fourth turnover of the season already.
8:08 — The Vikings' first offensive series ended in predictable fashion, with one first down and then a punt caused by interior pressure on two consecutive Kirk Cousins dropbacks. Metellus is officially questionable to return with a shoulder injury.
Eagles 3, Vikings 0
9:48 — The Eagles get on the board first with a field goal on the game's opening possession. The big play was a 54-yard bomb from Jalen Hurts to Devonta Smith. Josh Metellus had gotten banged up and was replaced by Theo Jackson, who was covering Smith on the play.
