In this story:

Darius Miles, the former Alabama basketball player who was charged with capital murder, has been indicted on those charges, along with his friend Michael Lynn Davis.

The initial charges stemmed from the shooting death of Jamea Jonae Harris, where Miles provided the gun that was used by Davis.

Davis' attorney John Robbins released the following statement:

"This is the first time that I received a call from ESPN to inform me that my client has been indicted by the Grand Jury on capital murder charges. I am not surprised by the indictment. We, myself, Michael and his family, were expecting it. I look forward to the opportunity to vigorously defend Michael at trial and to defend his right to protect himself when somebody points a gun at him and shoots him. We still hold Ms. Harris and her family in our prayers. Just because Michael submits that he is not guilty, does not mean that he is callous to the loss of her. He understands the pain the victim's family and friends are experiencing , and he sends his prayers and condolences. But, again, I say, "he is not the bad guy in this situation."

This story will continued to be updated as more information is released.
