CINCINNATI — The AAC men's basketball coaches have spoken, slotting UC third in the AAC preseason poll behind Houston and Memphis.

Veteran guard David Dejullius was also the lone Bearcat named to a preseason all-conference team, cracking the second squad.

Cincinnati earned 82 points to Memphis's 87 (one first-place vote), and Houston's 100 (10 first-place votes).

Dejulius should be right near the top of UC's scoring tally after leading the team in production last year at 14.5 points per game, to go with 2.8 rebounds and 2.6 assists. His 15.9 points per game in AAC play ranked sixth in the conference.

The Bearcats tip off the 2022-23 season on Nov. 7 against Chaminade.
