Landers Nolley Hiring An Agent, Will Not Return To Cincinnati
CINCINNATI — UC has its second roster exit of the offseason as Landers Nolley II confirmed on Friday that he is hiring an agent as he pursues an NBA career.
Nolley earned All-AAC first-team honors this past season after posting 16.8 points per game, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.6 assists.
He started all 36 games as a scoring stalwart and posted one of the greatest three-point shooting seasons in program history.
UC now has two open roster spots with the draft path for Nolley and the transfer portal entry for Jeramiah Davenport. The quick decision by Nolley to hire an agent at least takes the question mark off his status and allows the staff to pursue a pool of transfers that houses nearly a fifth of all Division 1 players.
Cincinnati has not had an NBA draft pick since Jacob Evans in 2018. Tari Eason got drafted last season but finished his college career with LSU.
