CINCINNATI — The Bearcats still haven't had an NBA draft selection since 2018 after Landers Nolley II signed with the New Orleans Pelicans as an undrafted free agent on Thursday night

He announced on April 7 that he would not return to college for his final season of eligibility.

Nolley earned All-AAC first-team honors this past season after posting 16.8 points per game, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.6 assists. He started all 36 games as a scoring stalwart and posted one of the greatest three-point shooting seasons in program history (41.7% on 6.8 tries per game).

Cincinnati hasn't had an NBA draft pick since Jacob Evans in 2018. Tari Eason got drafted last year but finished his college career with LSU.

Now, Nolley begins a pro career in a league that highly covets his best asset: deep shotmaking. Still, It's an uphill climb to make a Pelicans roster loaded with wings.
