BYU Cornerback George Udo, Virginia Tech Defensive End Kyree Moyston Commit to UC
CINCINNATI — UC football secured a pair of transfer commitments on Thursday in BYU cornerback George Udo and Virginia Tech defensive end Kyree Moyston.
Udo is a graduate transfer that appeared in 37 games and had four starts for the Cougars. He finished with 44 tackles and three sacks in four seasons at BYU.
He was an average player compared to the rest of the FBS last season. His 64.5 overall PFF grade ranked 333rd among 599 cornerbacks to play at least 130 snaps last season.
The 6-foot-1, 200-pound defensive back has one year of eligibility left in his collegiate career after originally committing to Charlotte earlier this spring.
Moyston is on the opposite end of his college career, having spent his freshman season redshirting at Va Tech.
The three-star defensive end in the 2022 recruiting class, played his high school football at King’s Fork in Suffolk, Virginia. According to 247Sports, He was the 144th-ranked defensive lineman in the 2022 class.
