Report: UC Basketball Facing Detroit Mercy During 2023-24 Non-Conference Schedule

Cincinnati hammered the matchup last season.

CINCINNATI — UC men's basketball is reportedly facing Detroit Mercy once again in the 2023-24 non-conference schedule.

Jon Rothstein reported the matchup taking place at Fifth Third Arena on Nov. 10. It shapes up to be the first or second game of the season.

Cincinnati is 3-0 against Detroit Mercy since 1949 and won last year 72-54 behind a monstrous outing from Viktor Lakhin (18 points, 15 rebounds).
