National Analyst Praises Ahmad 'Sauce' Gardner: 'He Might Be the Biggest Slam Dunk' in 2022 NFL Draft

Will Gardner get picked in the top five?

CINCINNATI — Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner has impressed the NFL teams he's met with during the pre-draft process.

The 21-year-old is considered the top cornerback in this class. Peter Schrager of NFL Network expects Gardner to go to the Jets at No. 4 if he's still on the board.

"Sauce is like a sure-fire thing and they're going to get a sure-fire pro at fourth overall," Schrager said on the Pat McAfee Show. "I think when it's all said and done he might be the biggest slam dunk in this draft as far as you know what you're getting, cleanest prospect on and off the field. He's interviewing incredibly well."

Gardner didn't allow a touchdown in three seasons at Cincinnati. He has a chance to be the highest-drafted player in Bearcats history.

Greg Cook was selected fifth overall by the Bengals in 1969.
