CINCINNATI — Tyler Scott spoke with Justin Melo of The Draft Network this week and detailed which teams he's met with ahead of the 2023 NFL Draft.

"I’ve met with all 32 teams throughout the process," Scott said. "Despite me being an underclassman, all of my interviews have been straight football questions. I spoke with a lot of scouts who actually told me that’s a great sign. It means teams don’t have many question marks on me. Nobody really asked me about my background or off-field stuff. It was all football talk. That’s apparently also a great sign because it means teams are comfortable with my character.

"Some of my formal interviews at the combine included the Cleveland Browns, New York Giants, Las Vegas Raiders, and Chicago Bears. We’re currently sorting through my Top 30 schedule. I keep getting told that I’m a polished and sharp prospect by scouts. They’re very comfortable with me and don’t need to spend a ton of time combing through my personality. They don’t have a bunch of question marks."

The receiver landed inside The Athletic's top 50 players update this week.

He is currently ranked 76th on the consensus big board (the highest among UC players in this class), and is seventh among wide receivers.

Scott even got dinner with Luke Fickell's best friend, Mike Vrabel.

"I have a virtual meeting coming up with Tennessee Titans wide receivers coach Rob Moore," Scott said. "Mike Vrabel actually took me out to dinner last Wednesday (3/22), the day before my Pro Day. Vrabel took me out to dinner. The offensive coordinator [Tim Kelly] was also there with a few scouts. That was a great dinner and a terrific night. I had a lot of fun talking about football with those guys. The receivers coach [Rob Moore] just called me yesterday (3/27) and said he wanted to hop on a Zoom call. I also met with the Los Angeles Rams, New Orleans Saints, and New England Patriots the night before my Pro Day."

Scott is a near lock to be the first Bearcats drafted this year and is likely the only first or second-round pick in the group.
