CINCINNATI — Brian Kelly left Notre Dame for LSU on Tuesday. The former Bearcats head coach spent the past 12 seasons with the Fighting Irish.

First, he sent a text message to his players at Notre Dame on Monday night after the news leaked. Then, he met with his guys for less than two minutes on Tuesday morning according to a report from Pete Sampson of The Athletic.

"Multiple sources indicated that Brian Kelly’s address to the team on Tuesday morning lasted less than two minutes, then he turned around and walked out," Sampson tweeted. "He did not take questions from the players.

It's not that surprising when you look back to how he left the University of Cincinnati. For more on that story watch our entire conversation with Bearcats legend Tony Pike here.

Meanwhile, Notre Dame doesn't have a head coach, despite having an outside chance of making the College Football Playoff.
