Recruiting Roundup: Bearcats Offer Top-60 2024 Recruit, Three Other Prominent 2023-24 Players

Cincinnati stayed hungry on the recruiting trail while their biggest stars were getting drafted.

CINCINNATI — The Bearcats had plenty of former cornerstone recruits get drafted this past weekend, but that didn't distract them from offering four prominent players in the next two classes. Things start with 2023 three-star offensive tackle Naquil Bertrand out of Northeast (Pennsylvania).

Accoridng to 247Sports Composite, Bertrand is the 695th-ranked player nationally and the 59th-ranked offensive tackle. He holds 19 offers from schools like Bowling Green, Colorado, and Coastal Carolina. Check out his highights here.

Next we move to the Class of 2024 with four-star Bishop McDevitt (Pennsylvania) wide receiver Rico Scott.

Acording to 247Sports Composite, Scott is the 166th-ranked player in the class and the 30th-ranked wide receiver. He holds 10 offers from schools like Maryland, Lousiville, and Penn State. Check out his highlights here.

Cincinnati also offered three-star 2023 offensive tackle James Jenkins out of Carrollwood Day (Florida).

According to On3, Jenkins is the 56th-ranked offensive tackle in 2023 and the 102nd-ranked player in Florida. He now holds eight offers from schools like Miami, Ole Miss, and Penn State.

The big names wrap up with four-star 2024 edge rusher Ernest Willor out of St. Paul's School (Maryland).
