CINCINNATI — UC football kicks off the 2023 season on Saturday and a couple notable visitors are pacing the sidelines. We start with a visit from 2026 local athlete Cam Thomas out of Lakota West (Ohio).

There are no major 2026 rankings, but the 6-foot-1, 200-pound Thomas holds nine offers from schools like Marshall and Miami (OH).

He primarily plays outside linebacker and running back. Cincinnati offered him this past August.

2026 athlete Caden Gebhardt out of Olentangy (Ohio) is also visiting.

There are no major rankings for the 2026 class.

Moving to a pair of offers we have one for three-star 2025 running back Zion Johnson out of Newton (Georgia).

According to 247Sports, he is the 237th-ranked player nationally and the 22nd-best running back. Johnson holds 12 offers from teams like UConn and Florida.

We close with an offer to three-star 2025 running back Girard Pringle Jr. out of Armwood (Florida).

According to 247Sports, Pringle is the 57th-best running back in the country and the 96th-best player in Florida.

He holds eight offers from schools like Ole Miss and Coastal Carolina.
