CINCINNATI — UC football is staying busy on the recruiting trail as the open contact period for 2025 recruits continues. We start with an offer for three-star 2025 offensive lineman Zak Stoilov out of Maine South (Illinois).

According to 247Sports, Stoilov is the 48th-best offensive lineman in the country and the 19th-ranked player in Illinois.

The 6-foot-4, 265-pound lineman holds four other offers from schools like Toledo and Akron.

Next is an offer to four-star 2025 wide receiver Royal Capell out of Steele (Texas).

According to On3, Capell is the 187th-ranked player nationally and the 25th-best wide receiver.

The 5-foot-10, 185-pound pass catcher holds 10 other offers from schools like Baylor and Oklahoma.

Sticking with the four-star talent, UC offered 2025 Cahokia (Illinois) defensive lineman Jason Dowell.

According to 247Sports, Dowell is the 292nd-best player nationally and the 32nd-ranked defensive lineman.

The 6-foot-4, 275-pound defensive lineman holds four other offers from Missouri, Iowa, Illinois, and Iowa State.

Cincinnati sent a 2026 offer out as well to local athlete Cam Thomas out of Lakota West (Ohio).

There are no major 2026 rankings but the 6-foot-1, 200-pound Thomas holds seven other offers from schools like Marshall and Miami (OH). 

He primarily plays outside linebacker and running back.

The roundup closes with an offer to 2025 three-star offensive lineman Cameron Herron out of Warren Central (Indiana).

According to 247Sports, Herron is the 452nd-ranked player nationally and the 22nd-best interior offensive lineman.

The 6-foot-4, 260-pound player holds 10 other offers from schools like Indiana and Duke.
