Report: Four-Star 2024 UC Recruit Jase Richardson Announces Commitment Date

The Bearcats are building a strong 2024 class.

CINCINNATI — One of Cincinnati's targets across the 2024 recruiting period is announcing his commitment on Sunday, Oct. 15. Four-star guard Jase Richardson is ready to pick his college home.

According to 247Sports, Richardson is the 35th-ranked prospect nationally and the third-best combo guard. His dad Jason attended Michigan State and played in the NBA from 2001-15.

He visited UC in September and has them among his final schools along with Alabama and Michigan State. If Richardson chooses UC, the Bearcats firmly vault into the top 10 of 247Sports team class rankings.

UC staffers watched him at the first Nike EYBL summer session in late April and offered him shortly after.

Richardson has a nice package of dribble-pullup moves that he can access at multiple levels. He likely has to stack some more weight in the monster factory, but flashes a nice motor, jump shot form, and Big-12 caliber athleticism.

He could be a deadly shooter in transition as a part of Wes Miller's balanced, motion offense.
