UC Loses Running Back Jason Patterson From 2025 Class

Cincinnati still has over 20 recruits committed as of this writing.

CINCINNATI — The Bearcats lost one of their highest-rated 2025 commitments as three-star running back Jason Patterson flipped his commitment from UC to Kentucky. Patterson rated second among UC commits on 247Sports.

He chose Cincinnati over Vanderbilt, Kentucky, Rutgers, and Boston College back in August, but the Wildcats worked their way back into the mix.

According to 247Sports, Patterson is the 521st-ranked player nationally and the 43rd-ranked running back. He's dropped about 50 spots in the national rankings since committing to Cincinnati.

UC now has 22 2025 recruits committed and one running back (Jakorion Caffey).
