Former FSU Star Jordan Travis Provides Update On Timetable For Return At NFL Combine
Former FSU quarterback Jordan Travis spoke at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis regarding his progress following the lower-leg injury he sustained in November against North Alabama.
It was the Seminoles’ final home game of the season and senior night as well.
Travis answered questions concerning the consequences of his injury, Florida State being left out of the Playoff, and the difficulties surrounding it – both physical and emotional.
“It sucks. It does suck. But at the end of the day, you got to control what you can control. I learned that throughout my life, throughout my career. So, I just try to keep my head down and try not to listen to the outside noise," Travis said.
"This Florida State team was really special," Travis continued. "I think we’re seeing that at the Combine here, with the athletes and just the people that we have here on the field, but you can’t control that. So, we’ve got to move past that and I look forward to seeing Florida State win a lot of football games."

Furthermore, the former FSU QB said that he will be ready to go sometime around May or June. He also stated that he’s met with almost every NFL franchise throughout the Combine process.
"I got out of my boot about a week ago so it's pretty special. I'm so thankful to wake up every single day and look down at my shoes - I'm so grateful. It's been a journey for sure and my family has helped me get through it. I should be ready by May - that's my goal - May, June, so I'm ready for it."
During his time at FSU, Travis accounted for 8,644 passing yards and 65 touchdowns through the air. On the ground, he rushed for over 1,900 yards and 31 touchdowns. He even added a receiving touchdown against Syracuse in 2022.
He will go down as the quarterback who initiated the revival of Florida State football in the 2020s.
