Georgia Dominantely Remains No. 1 AP Poll Team

The Georgia Bulldogs dominated the Kentucky Wildcats yesterday afternoon and held a firm grip on the number one spot in this week's AP Poll.

After what many considered the Georgia Bulldogs' first loss of the season before the game even started, Carson Beck and Co. silenced doubters as they dominantly put the Kentucky Wildcats back in their cage, defeating them 51-13. However, other teams this week did not see the same results that Georgia did and, therefore, saw a drop in their rankings.

A total of six teams from last week's Top 25 AP Poll saw their undefeated seasons end, such as Miami, who lost in wild fashion to Dominick Blaylock and Georgia Tech. Also amongst these teams were the Missouri Tigers, who lost to LSU 49-39, leaving Georgia standing alone at the top of the SEC East. USC also narrowly held on to their undefeated season going into triple overtime with Arizona. Because of these upsets, there was much shuffling in this week's rankings, and others have re-emerged into the top 25.
