Georgia Bulldogs Look to Avoid Becoming Next "Drake Curse" Victim
Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs are currently attempting to do something that has never been done in modern college football. Win three national title games in three straight seasons. But in order to do so, it seems that the Bulldogs may have to overcome one of the most infamous social media curses there is...
"The Drake Curse"
"The Drake Curse" is a viral trend on social media that claims that whichever sports team or figure that famous rapper Drake supports always seems to have bad luck shortly thereafter. The curse has claimed numerous notable victims such as quarterback Johnny Manziel, UFC Fighter Kamaru Usman, Tennis phenom Serena Williams, and even the entire Kentucky Wildcats basketball team.
Unfortunately for Georgia fans, photos of the famous rapper wearing a jacket with a Georgia "G" have recently surfaced on the internet. Leaving many to believe that the Bulldogs are the next victims of this supposed curse
One reason why Drake could be "repping the G" is to bring awareness to his latest studio album "For All the Dogs". The University of Georgia's mascot is of course the Bulldogs with fans commonly saying the phrase "Go Dawgs".
While "The Drake Curse" is likely just internet lore and most people are not superstitious enough to believe that a rapper can change the fate of an entire football team. This photo will almost certainly resurface later if the Georgia Bulldogs fall short of their goals for the 2023 season.
