Former Georgia Linebacker Announces Transfer Destination

Former Georgia linebacker Darris Smith has announced where he will play for the 2024 season.

The 2023 Georgia football season has come to a close with the 27 to 24 loss to the Alabama Crimson Tide, at least the 2023 version of the roster. With the loss, there will be inevitable NFL Draft Declarations, impending NCAA Transfer Portal entries, and roster movement unlike you've probably seen at this point in the season for the Bulldogs.

The latest roster movement news is that former linebacker Darris Smith has announced he will transfer to the Missouri Tigers. There was a stint this season where Smith was not with the team, but it was then announced later in the season that he made his way back with the group. Now he is on his way to another SEC school.
