Georgia Wide Receiver Yazeed Haynes Plans to Enter Transfer Portal
The 2023 Georgia football season has come to a close as the Bulldogs now prepare for their bowl game matchup against Florida State. With the team's playoff hopes now no longer in play, players have started to make announcements regarding their plans for the future. The most recent news is wide receiver Yazeed Haynes announcing his intentions to enter the NCAA transfer portal.
Haynes had one reception for 20 yards this season as a true freshman and appears to be looking for an opportunity elsewhere after just one year. It is also worth noting that former defensive back coach Fran Brown was a keynote recruiter during Haynes' high school career who helped get him to Athens and is now the head coach at Syracuse.
With players making their intentions known in the coming days and weeks, here is a running update of the roster movements as they happen.
