Jackson Finley and Jack Rubenstein Named Among Top 50 At Their Positions By D1 Baseball

Finley and Rubenstein have had good seasons to date for Georgia Tech

As Georgia Tech is getting ready to hit the road and take on Boston College for the weekend, A couple of Yellow Jackets have been mentioned among the best at their positions on D1Baseball. Jackson Finley is the No. 7 first baseman, and Jack Rubenstein ranks as the No. 19 catcher.

D1 updated their player rankings now that the season is 1/3rd of the way over and both Yellow Jacket players earned their way into the top 50.

Finley has been sensational as a first baseman, but also as a pitcher. For the year, he is hitting .356/.442/.849 with nine home runs, a 1.291 OPS, and 30 RBIs. He also has nine doubles.

Rubenstein has had big shoes to fill this season after Kevin Parada's year in 2022, but he has done a great job so far. Rubenstein is hitting 356/.462/.609 and has a 1.071 OPS to go with four home runs and 20 RBIs.

After dropping a game in 14 innings to Georgia State, Georgia Tech faces Boston College this weekend, which is currently ranked No. 14 at D1Baseball. It will be a tough series for GT, who has won two of their first three ACC series and currently sits third in the ACC Coastal.
