Georgia Tech Weekly Recruiting Update: 3/27
After getting two commitments last Sunday, it was a relatively quiet week for Georgia Tech in recruiting, but it was not completely silent. They had some key visitors come through and that is continuing through Monday.
Let's recap the week that was in Georgia Tech recruiting.
1. Monday Visitors
Georgia Tech is expecting some 2024 visitors today. One of them is defensive back Kemari Nix (Marietta, GA) and the other is offensive lineman John Wayne Oliver (Nashville, TN). Oliver recently took visits to Florida State and Auburn and those schools could be tough to beat, but it was good that Brent Key and the staff got him on campus.
2. Quarterback commit gets recognized
Georgia Tech commit and four-star quarterback Jakhari Williams (Macon, GA) was recognized by the Macon touchdown club as one of the super seven in the state.
3. 2024 Offensive tackle target Malachi Toliver commits to Georgia
Cartersville offensive tackle Malachi Toliver was a target for Key and the Yellow Jackets staff and he was in Atlanta for a visit on for an unofficial visit on March 11th. The three-star offensive tackle chose to head to Athens and play for Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs.
