2024 Three-Star Defensive End Jordan Boyd Commits to Georgia Tech
Brent Key and the Yellow Jackets have added another 2024 commitment late Sunday night.
Three-star defensive end Jordan Boyd (Aiken, SC) is now the fourth commitment for Georgia Tech's 2024 class and the second of the day. Earlier, three-star offensive lineman Santana Alo-Tupuola committed to Tech.
This is the first defensive commitment of the 2024 class for Georgia Tech. Boyd is an athletic edge played at 6'3 215 LBS and he is only going to continue growing into his frame. This could be a big steal and I think Boyd is going to be a rising player in this recruiting process.
Boyd had other offers from Wake Forest, Virginia Tech, and Missouri, among others.
Georgia Tech currently has three other players committed for the 2024 class and one of them is four-star quarterback Jakhari Williams (Macon, GA). Williams is the guy that Key is going to be building this class around and that is a very good building block alongside running back commit Duke Watson. They will be considered the backfield of the future for Georgia Tech.
Georgia Tech's 2024 recruiting class currently ranks 44th according to 247Sports, which is good for 8th in the ACC.
2024 Commitments
- Jakhari Williams (QB)
- Duke Watson (RB)
- Santana Alo-Tupuola (IOL)
- Jordan Boyd (DE/LB)
