Georgia Tech Makes The Top Ten For Four-Star Wide Reciever Braylon Staley

Georgia Tech is among the finalists for talented wide receiver Braylon Staley

Georgia Tech is one of the finalists for a four-star wide receiver out of Aiken, SC.

Braylon Staley announced his top ten tonight and the Yellow Jackets are among his final ten schools.

Other finalists in Staley's recruitment included Auburn, Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, North Carolina, Miami, Tennessee, Penn State, and Florida.

Staley is an explosive receiver who is a threat downfield and at 6'0 175 LBS, he is still growing into his frame and he has the looks of being a big time player this season.

The other schools that are finalists are going to be tough to beat though. Georgia, Alabam, and Clemson recruit as well as any programs in the country and the others have been perennial top 20 teams in the recruiting rankings. Brent Key and the rest of the staff will have their work cut out for them.

Staley did attend junior day at Georgia Tech on January 14th and he was also at Clemson's junior day shortly after. The Yellow Jackets offered him in December of 2022.

Georgia Tech currently has two players committed for the 2024 class and one of them is four-star quarterback Jakhari Williams (Macon, GA). Williams is the guy that Key is going to be building this class around and that is a very good building block alongside running back commit Duke Watson. They will be considered the backfield of the future for Georgia Tech.

Georgia Tech's 2024 recruiting class currently ranks 53rd according to 247Sports.

2024 Commitments

  • Jakhari Williams (QB)
  • Duke Watson (RB)
