Report: Georgia Tech Hires New Director Of On-Campus Recruiting
Georgia Tech continued to build out its support staff today and according to a report from John Brice at FootballScoop, the Yellow Jackets have landed a new on-campus director for recruiting.
Kimberly Smith is leaving her job as the director of recruiting operations at Kansas to take this job. Here is what Brice reported on FootballScoop earlier today:
"Sources tell FootballScoop that Kimberly Smith has accepted the Yellow Jackets' director of on-campus recruiting post, after previously serving on Lance Leipold's Kansas Jayhawks staff as the program's director of recruiting operations.
Key has made a concerted effort since being elevated to the full-time head coach's role to beef up the Yellow Jackets' recruiting staff and work on the trail. Smith is known for her attention to detail and organizational skills."
Brent Key has added new faces to this support staff in hopes of boosting the Yellow Jackets' recruiting efforts and the hire of Smith is just the latest example of that.
