2026 Wide Receiver Aaron Gregory Discusses Recent Georgia Tech Offer
The 2026 recruiting class is not around the corner, but coaches are still evaluating who will be the top players in future recruiting classes and getting a chance to start early on their recruitment and build a solid relationship.
One of the names to know in the 2026 class is Douglas County wide receiver, Aaron Gregory. Gregory received an offer from Georgia Tech last week and has been getting plenty of attention this spring. Gregory already holds offers from programs like Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Penn State, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia Tech, among others.
Gregory got a chance to talk with FanNation's director of recruiting Brooks Austin after a spring practice recently and talk about his recent offer from the Yellow Jackets and what he is looking for in his next school:
"Definitely will be back on campus. Right now I believe I am looking for a brotherhood, accountability, and development. I want a family-type or open-door relationship with my coaches, along with a program that I can come into and make a difference while developing for that next level. Teammates that will hold each other accountable and push each other to be great on and off the field."
Gregory was at the Yellow Jackets' spring practice and it sounds like he wants to visit again:
"I did enjoy meeting the coaches after practice and it was a good physical spring practice, but I did not get much time with them. Georgia Tech would be on the list to visit again."
When asked what he wants to see from a program like GT, that is going through change, to really get in on a recruitment like his:
"I think once everything is settled, just like any other program, building that relationship. Visiting a practice, games, camps, etc to get a feel for their program and coaching style."
The 2024 class for Georgia Tech currently ranks 31st on 247Sports, which is 8th in the ACC.
The 2024 class for Georgia Tech is headlined by four-star quarterback Jakhari Williams (Macon, GA). Williams has been the building block for Key in this class and is going to be the quarterback of the future for the Yellow Jackets.
