Earlier today, four-star tight end Kylan Fox canceled his official visit to Miami and is now replacing it with an official visit to Atlanta and Georgia Tech.

Fox has been one of the top targets on Georgia Tech's board and is one of the highest-rated prospects on 247Sports they are after. He took an official visit to UCF this past weekend and also has an official visit locked in with Florida State later this month, as well as Colorado and Deion Sanders. One 247Sports analyst made a crystal ball prediction for Florida State earlier this week.

This is huge news for Georgia Tech. They need to seal the deal and land the talented prospect, but getting him to not visit another ACC school and take an OV to Georgia Tech gives this staff some momentum in this recruitment and a chance to land his commitment.

Here is the scouting report on Fox from 247Sports Director of Scouting Andrew Ivins:

"A two-way player on Friday nights that has gotten snaps at both tight end and edge rusher. Has the desired measurements as he’s over 6-foot-4 and blessed with some additional length in the arms. Flashed on the defensive side of the ball as a sophomore in the Peach State’s highest classification, but started to bill himself as more of a tight end after a junior campaign in which he caught 25 passes for 326 yards and two scores. As a route runner, uses lanky stride to get across the field and find holes in zone coverage. Owns a bigger catch radius, but needs to keep improving the hands. Must also learn how to consistently find leverage if he’s going to be a true in-line player on Saturdays. As a defender, has showcased the ability to get around the corner and get home as he uses a nice forward lean to generate momentum. However, will need to keep progressing and learn how to formulate a plan as a pass rusher if his primary goal one day will be to pressure opposing quarterbacks. Overall, should be viewed as big athlete with some tools to work with. A case could be made that his ceiling might be highest on defense given length and burst, but had his moments as a pass catcher spring before senior season on the camp circuit."
