Georgia Tech is working to build a 2024 class that could be the foundation for the Brent Key era in Atlanta and June is a big month in doing so. Official visits are underway this weekend and there are plenty of top targets on campus for the Yellow Jackets this weekend.

Georgia Tech has its quarterback on board with Aaron Philo (although the door is not shut on them taking two) but they do not have a running back. Four-star player Duke Watson decommitted from Georgia Tech last month and now the Yellow Jackets are going to have to look for a new running back for the 2024 class.

Georgia Tech brought in one running back in the 2023 class in Evan Dickens (IMG Academy, FL).

The first prospect to look out for is Khamani Alexander (Miami, FL), who is on an official visit this weekend. Alexander was only recently offered by Georgia Tech and also holds offers from Boston College, Louisville, Marshall, Pitt, Syracuse, USF, and West Virginia. This seems to be a recruitment that has taken off and one to watch coming out of the weekend.

Another running back that is on his official visit this weekend is Matthew Fuller (Jesup, GA). Fuller was at the Yellow Jackets' spring game in April. South Carolina is another school to watch here and Fuller will be in Columbia for an official visit next weekend.

One prospect that did attend junior day back in January was current Liberty commit Caden Williams (Calhoun, GA), but he has not been back since and there does not appear to be any momentum in that direction.

Jaedon Matthews (Scottsdale, AZ) could be trending towards Georgia Tech and is set to be on his official visit to Atlanta next week. Wisconsin, Arizona, Arizona State, Cal, Colorado, Duke, Kansas, Kansas State, and Washington State.

Four-star running back David Eziomume was a big Georgia Tech target before committing to Clemson.

The names to watch appear to be Matthews, Fuller, and Alexander, all of which are set to be on an official visit. Keep a close eye on these three, but also on any new offers.
