Georgia Tech Guard Amaree Abram Invited To USA Basketball U19 Camp
Georgia Tech guard Amaree Abram transferred from Ole Miss this offseason and he is one of the bright young players that Stoudamire will be relying on next season. Today, Abram was invited to compete in the USA Basketball U19 Camp.
Camp begins June 11 with the 12-member team to be announced before departing for the 2023 FIBA U19 Men’s World Cup, scheduled for June 24-July 2 in Debrecen, Hungary (Per Georgia Tech PR).
Abram saw action in all 33 games for Ole Miss during the 2022-23 season, starting in 22 games and averaging 21.0 minutes per contest. He averaged 8.0 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per contest, finishing fourth on the team in scoring and second in assists (Per Georgia Tech PR).
Kowacie Reeves (Florida), Ebenezer Dowuona (NC State), Tyzhaun Claude (Western Carolina), Tafara Gapare (UMass), and Jalen Forrest (Presbyterian) are the transfers joining the program this offseason.
