Georgia Tech does not have a tight end committed for the 2024 class and they did not take one in the 2023 class. They have offered several tight end prospects in the class and are working to identify their top targets at the position. This is a position where the Yellow Jackets have not seen a lot of production from and they are hoping that will change under new offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner.

So who could be the top targets at the position for Brent Key and the staff?

Two highly-rated in-state players Kylan Fox (Grayson, GA) and Caleb Odom (Carrolton, GA) have seen a lot of interest from the Georgia Tech staff. Fox listed Georgia Tech in his top six and Odom had them in his top ten. The Yellow Jackets did not make Odom's top seven however and it does not appear they have any momentum in that direction. Fox has official visits planned for UCF, Florida State, Miami, and Colorado. We'll see if Georgia Tech can make any headway, but there does not appear to be any momentum right now, but that can certainly change.

One tight end that is on an official visit to Georgia Tech this weekend was Benjamin Blackburn (Miami, FL). Blackburn is a three-star tight end on the 247 Sports Composite and the 6'6 230 LBS prospect also has officials lined up for Boston College and Duke.

Two recent offers to tight ends include Noah Onyia (Lawrenceville, GA) and Ridge Barker (Lucas, TX). Onyia holds other offers from FAU, Troy, and Mississippis State while Barker holds other offers from Washington State, Tulane, and others.

Another recent offer in the last month from the GT staff was to Hubert Caliste (New Orleans, LA). Caliste has official visits lined up East Carolina and Indiana.

Blackburn appears to be the name to watch, but look out for new offers and if Georgia Tech can gain any unexpected momentum anywhere in the coming months.
