Georgia Tech Offers 2024 Four-Star Running Back Nate Frazier

Georgia Tech does not have a running back committed for the 2024 class

Georgia Tech had a decommitment at the running back position last week with in-state running back Duke Watson reopening his recruitment. Watson had been taking visits to other programs and it was not totally surprising to see, but now the Yellow Jackets do not have a running back committed for their upcoming recruiting class.

The Yellow Jackets have multiple offers out to running backs in the 2024 class and the latest one is to one of the top players at his position.

2024 running back Nate Frazier (Santa Ana, CA) is a four-star running back and top 100 player in the 247Sports Composite (92nd overall). He announced today on social media that he has picked up an offer from Georgia Tech.

Frazier had unofficial visits to Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee in the month of April and is going to be highly sought after in this recruiting class by multiple schools. He also holds offers from Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Miami, and Auburn, among several others.

It is likely a long shot that Georgia Tech can make any serious run in this recruitment, but with zero running backs committed in this class, Brent Key and the rest of the staff are offering a top prospect in the class and hoping to make some headway.

The 2024 class for Georgia Tech currently ranks 35th (before this commitment) on 247Sports, which is 8th in the ACC.

2024 Commitments

  • Santana Alo-Tupuola (IOL)
  • Jordan Boyd (DE/LB)
  • Demontrae Gaston (LB)
  • Tah'j Butler (LB)
  • Aaron Philo (QB)
  • William Depaepe (DE)
