Ole Miss receives prediction to land Georgia Tech wide receiver target

The Rebels could win a recruiting battle over Georgia Tech

Three-star wide receiver target Sanfrisco Magee listed his top five schools on July 21st and that list included the Yellow Jackets. However, the On3 recruiting prediction machine has a new favorite for the talented wide receiver from Mississippi.

Yesterday, Ole Miss took over as the new leader on the On3 recruiting prediction machine, with 64% of predictions coming in for the Rebels to land him. Now, that does not mean that Ole Miss will land him. Back in June, two analysts on 247Sports predicted Magee to land at Mississippi State (another school in his top five). It could be shaping up for an instate battle for Magee and while he is a talented player, Georgia Tech has already done a good job of getting talent at this position in this class.

Georgia Tech has done a good job of recruiting the wide receiver position this summer. The coaching and recruiting staff was able to flip four-star wide receiver Isiah Canion from Notre Dame in one of their biggest moves this summer. Four-star wide receiver Koby Young was also a big get for the staff out of Louisiana and in-state athlete Trey Horne make up a talented trio at the receiver position.
